My philosophy is, unless you plan on taking full advantage of a mod, don't do it. To take full advantage of the 740's you are going to need bigger turbos, AND the bottom end built, the heads at least bored with a valve job. Bigger valves should also be done, but you can skirt that one. You will also need a fuel pressure regulator, and an HKS Twin Power ignition system is almost a must. Unless you are planing this you will not be able to use the extra fuel the 740's would give you. Now I'm sure there will be some people saying that all this is not needed. Bullshit, it is IF you want all the 740's will give you. My Z dynoed 540 rwhp on pump gas at 17 psi because I do everything that is needed to get the maximum out of every mod. I get emails quite often asking me "how did you do that?" That's how, it's no secret. That was by the way, with 555's. Now that I have the 740's, as support for them, I redid the heads with larger stainless steel valves, got a fuel pressure regulator, Zen BOV's and the HKS twin power. See my point?
Fred 95 300TT SGP Stage..Who knows..lol Dynoed 539.4 RWHP, 481.2 Lbs. Torque Pump Gas @ 17 Lbs. of Boost NO NOS!!
